We have developed a long term relationship with this client, we have met the demands of the procedures for receiving European funds and now we are here, opening on of the biggest wellness projects in Romania. We do hope that this success story will encourage other companies to approach EximBank which understood the requirements of this difficult economic period and positioned itself as a valuable partner for any type of business”, declared Traian Halalai, President of EximBank.

The implementation process of the project called ”Aqua Park AquaStar – the best point of the leisure touristic places in Satu Mare”, co-financed by the European Union via the Regional Operational Program 2007-2013, Priority Tier 5 – Sustainable development and promotion of tourism, Major intervention domain 5.2 – Creating, developing and up grading the touristic infrastructure in order to improve usage of natural resources and improve touristic services quality, has been going on between February 2011 and May 2013. AquaStar offers leisure tourism, entertainment, relaxation, wellness and SPA services, efficiently using the natural resources of thermal springs in the area.

”For a small company like ours, implementing this project was a huge challenge, but seeing it now to its end the feeling of fulfillment is just as huge. I still remember the moment when we expected the financing agreement from EximBank. It was a decisive moment for the project and I am glad that everything turned out exactly the way we planned it. We are convinced that the potential of this investment is really high especially due to the fact that the aqua park will be an incentive for the further economic development of the area on several levels and especially on the long run”, declared Nagy Karoly, Solarex owner.
