Bucharest, September 24, 2012 \u2013 EximBank financed the new Romcab factory \u2013 one of the leading Romanian manufacturers of cables and conducting wires \u2013 opened at the end of last week in Acatari, Mures, under a project financed by the European Fund of Rural Development.<\/p>\n
\u201dThe relationship EximBank has with Romcab is not very long \u2013 we have been working since 2011 \u2013 but is a very strong partnership. We considered Acatari project as a significant one because it allowed us to support a company with proven capacity to generate ideas both at its own level and on macro scale by creating new jobs and stimulate the activity of other companies on the economic chain. By granting a product mix of almost 200 Mil Ron we managed to be part of the company and regional development and also in the attracting of European funds process. Romcab is one of the leading Romanian manufacturers of cables and conducting wires, with more than 40% of its production being exported. Romcab history starts 15 years ago, but the whole company\u2019s experience is built up along its 50 years of existence. The company as it is today is the result of Electromures spin off and privatization process that took place in 1999.<\/p>\n
