{"id":2056,"date":"2014-08-19T17:02:19","date_gmt":"2014-08-19T14:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/?p=2056"},"modified":"2014-08-19T17:02:19","modified_gmt":"2014-08-19T14:02:19","slug":"eximbank-gains-5-positions-in-top-100-banks-in-southern-eastern-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2014\/08\/19\/eximbank-gains-5-positions-in-top-100-banks-in-southern-eastern-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"EximBank gains 5 positions in Top 100 Banks in Southern Eastern Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bucharest, October 16, 2012 \u2013 EximBank has managed to place itself on the 38th position in Top 100 Banks in South Eastern Europe, as per the profit registered for last year in the yearly ranking realized by SeeNews in a partnership with Euromonitor International \u2013 the world\u2019s biggest supplier for business and markets analysis.<\/p>\n<p>In this year ranking edition, EximBank places 67 as per the assets at the end of 2011, going up 5 positions as compared to 2011, the ranking being realized by questionnaires sent to 240 banking institutions in 11 countries (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia).<\/p>\n<p>Romania comes back to the leading position in the region banks\u2019 rankings with 21 entities part of the survey for Top 100, followed by Bulgaria \u2013 18 and Slovenia \u2013 17.  The authors of the survey emphasized that in 2010, Romania lost the first position in front of Bulgaria and Serbia due to the bad economic conditions but managed to come back due to the fact that this year the ranking comprised 7 more banking institutions.  <\/p>\n<p>EximBank  is a specialized institution whose threefold product portfolio focused on financing,  guarantee and insurance, enables it to grant assistance to current activities and development of exporters, SME-s and companies involved in projects pertaining to key economic sectors, particularly those contributing to the absorption of EU funds.<\/p>\n<p>The bank registered a growth of its exposure toward non-banking clients with almost 700 Mil Euros in crisis conditions and a profit of more than 455 Mil.
