{"id":22596,"date":"2025-09-22T12:14:39","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T09:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/?p=22596"},"modified":"2025-09-22T12:33:20","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T09:33:20","slug":"loans-secured-by-the-european-investment-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2025\/09\/22\/loans-secured-by-the-european-investment-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Loans secured by the European Investment Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22590\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1235\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg 1640w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-300x104.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-1024x355.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-768x266.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-1536x532.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1235px) 100vw, 1235px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Exim Banca Romaneasca, in partnership with the European Investment Fund (the EIF), offers loans for financing investments or for working capital.secured with EIF Guarantee within the:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>RRF SME Competitiveness Product<\/strong> for <strong>SME<\/strong> clients (<em>according to Law No. 346\/2004<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li><strong>RRF Sustainability Product<\/strong> for <strong>SME<\/strong> clients (<em>according to Law No. 346\/2004<\/em>) and <strong>Small Mid-Cap<\/strong> clients (<em>entities with fewer than 500 full-time equivalent employees that are not SMEs according to Law No. 346\/2004<\/em>),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These loans benefit from support from the European Union under the InvestEU Fund and are funded by the European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU with the financial backing of Romania under the InvestEU Member State Compartment for Romania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The EIF Guarantees can be accessed for investment loans, credit lines and term loans denominated in RON or EUR, conditioned upon the fulfillment of the Bank\u2019s lending requirements as well as the EIF eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the RRF SME Competitiveness Product, the aim of the EIF Guarantee is to improve access to finance for Romanian enterprises and to revitalize blocked lending channels during and in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis. Within the RRF Sustainability Product, the EIF Guarantee shall contribute to the green and sustainable transformation of the Romanian economy, the purpose of the loans being mainly financing green investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The advantages of contracting a loan from Exim Banca Romaneasca secured by the EIF are<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>An EIF Guarantee requiring no guarantee fee payment,\u00a0 covering:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0&#8211; between minimum 30% and up to 70% from the value of the loan guaranteed within the <strong><em>RRF SME Competitiveness Product<\/em><\/strong>, <em>except for clients having their registered office located in Bucharest and Ilfov County, where the maximum guarantee rate is 50%;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0&#8211; between minimum 30% and up to 70% from the value of the loan guaranteed within the <strong><em>RRF <\/em>Sustainability<em> Product<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>A reduction of the level of the interest rate applied to the loan (financial benefit)<\/strong> compared with the level of the interest rate applied when there is no EIF Guarantee;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For additional information on contracting a loan secured by EIF, please contact your nearest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Business Center \/ Branch.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>These details are for information purpose only, being just a summary, and may be subject to changes at any moment.
