{"id":22621,"date":"2025-09-23T13:33:36","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T10:33:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/?p=22621"},"modified":"2025-09-23T13:36:28","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T10:36:28","slug":"companies-loans-guaranteed-by-the-european-investment-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2025\/09\/23\/companies-loans-guaranteed-by-the-european-investment-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Companies Loans Guaranteed by the European Investment Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exim Banca Romaneasca supports the development of Romanian companies by granting loans for investments and working capital under advantageous conditions, with European guarantees that can cover up to 70% of the financing value, following the signing of a guarantee agreement between the bank and the European Investment Fund (EIF).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">EIF guarantees can be accessed under two schemes: SME Competitiveness \u2013 aimed at improving access to finance for Romanian enterprises and revitalizing blocked lending channels during and in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis, and Sustainability \u2013 designed to contribute to the green and sustainable transformation of the Romanian economy, the purpose of the loans being mainly financing green investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAccess to finance is a key element for Romanian companies to a\u00a0healthy\u00a0and\u00a0sustainable\u00a0growth. By signing this guarantee agreement with the European Investment Fund, as part of the bank\u2019s sustainability strategy, Exim Banca Romaneasca reaffirms its commitment to being a dedicated financial partner for sustainable development and economic performance. We thus provide entrepreneurs with all the necessary tools to create long-term value, facilitating investments that can transform the local economy into a more resilient and greener one,\u201d said Traian Halalai, Executive President of Exim Banca Romaneasca.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-22590\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1214\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1.jpg 1640w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-300x104.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-1024x355.jpg 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-768x266.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/FEI-1-1536x532.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1214px) 100vw, 1214px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The main advantages of accessing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2025\/09\/22\/loans-secured-by-the-european-investment-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">loan from Exim Banca Rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 with EIF Guarantee<\/a> are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The guarantee can cover between 30% and 70% of the loan value; <em>for the SME Competitiveness scheme, there is a maximum limit of 50% for companies based in Bucharest and Ilfov<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Reduced interest rate, meaning lower costs.<\/li>\n<li>No guarantee commission, as it is fully covered by the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The EIF guarantees can be accessed for investment loans, credit lines, and project-based loans, granted in RON or EUR, subject to meeting the bank\u2019s lending conditions as well as EIF eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These loans benefit from the support of the European Union under the InvestEU Fund and are financed by the European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU with the financial support of Romania under the InvestEU Member State Compartment for Romania.<\/p>\n<p><em>September 23, 2025 <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exim Banca Romaneasca supports the development of Romanian companies by granting loans for investments and working capital under advantageous conditions, with European guarantees that can cover up to 70% of the financing value, following the signing of a guarantee agreement between the bank and the European Investment Fund (EIF).
