{"id":2643,"date":"2019-05-20T12:48:02","date_gmt":"2019-05-20T09:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/?p=2643"},"modified":"2019-05-20T12:48:02","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T09:48:02","slug":"official-support-practices-adapted-to-current-commercial-trends-on-focus-for-the-export-credit-working-group-of-european-union-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2019\/05\/20\/official-support-practices-adapted-to-current-commercial-trends-on-focus-for-the-export-credit-working-group-of-european-union-council\/","title":{"rendered":"Official support practices adapted to current commercial trends \u2013 on focus for the Export Credit Working Group of European Union Council"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Bucharest, May\n20, 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Reaching a common technical position of the EU member states in terms\nof approaching the international markets and the status of the &nbsp;financial instruments in their portfolio that\nmay contribute to the global\ncommerce development with a&nbsp; focus on\nadapting their practices to current international trends, &nbsp;represented the main topic of the meeting of\nthe Export Credit Working Group of the European Union Council in Bucharest, at\nthe end of last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"690\" height=\"361\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/TLU_9305-690x361.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2644\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/TLU_9305-690x361.jpg 690w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/TLU_9305-300x157.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/TLU_9305-768x402.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The informal meeting was organized under the Romanian Presidency of the European Union Council during the first semester of this year by the Export \u2013 Import Bank of Romania that holds the presidency of the Export Credit Working Group of the European Union Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dThe\ninternational background, more and more competitive and challenging in terms of\ntechnology, international manufacturing flows and financial instruments needed\nby the companies that wish to approach the&nbsp;\ninternational markets created the need for a constant international\ndialogue in order to shape the regulatory framework adapted to the actual\ndemands.&nbsp; It is an opportunity for EximBank, that holds the presidency of the\nexport credit group in Brussels to contribute under the&nbsp; <em>Europe\nof Convergence<\/em> Pillar&nbsp; to develop the\ndebate that will allow integrating quickly the necessary changes into the\nspecific&nbsp; financial architecture of the\nexport credit agencies\u2019 activity\u201d, said Traian Halalai,\nExecutive President of EximBank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also expressed his confidence that the Informal Meeting of the Export Credit Group of the European Union Council in Bucharest, that benefited from the presence of 50 experts in export credit from EU member states will contribute to consolidating the harmonization process of the main applicable regulations for export credit in European Union and to insuring the convergence with the competitivity levels on international markets on level playing field conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EximBank is actively involved for more\nthan 25 years in supporting and promoting the Romanian business environment by\nendorsing local companies\u2019 projects.&nbsp;\nEximBank has started out as export agency and further developed on\nseveral levels maintaining its uniqueness. Following adjustments in strategy,\nimplemented in order to adapt to national and global economic developments,\nEximBank is now able to offer to corporate segment an attractive portfolio of\nproducts and services either for &nbsp;SMEs or\nbig companies, active internationally or exclusively on local markets.
