{"id":2911,"date":"2021-06-16T11:55:32","date_gmt":"2021-06-16T08:55:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/?p=2911"},"modified":"2021-06-16T11:55:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T08:55:32","slug":"the-financial-support-governmental-program-for-large-companies-is-extended-up-to-the-end-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2021\/06\/16\/the-financial-support-governmental-program-for-large-companies-is-extended-up-to-the-end-of-the-year\/","title":{"rendered":"The financial support governmental program for large companies is extended up to the end of the year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Bucharest, June 16, 2021<\/strong> &#8211; \u00a0The financial support program for large companies and SMEs with a turnover of more than 20 Million Lei in 2019, implemented by EximBank under the special mandate of the Romanian state will be in force all year long due\u00a0 to the extension of its\u00a0 validity up to December 31<sup>st<\/sup> 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The companies that fall under the\nabove-mentioned categories benefit from a six months period of extended\navailability of the state aid financing and guarantees products thus enabling\nthem to continue filing the respective applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"586\" height=\"453\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Presentation1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2873\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Presentation1.png 586w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Presentation1-300x232.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 586px) 100vw, 586px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dThe flexibility and adaptive features of\nEximBank have enabled us last year to develop fast a new portfolio of state aid\nproducts that support access to financing for the companies impacted by the\nCOVID-19 pandemic in terms of available cash and intensifies the effects of\nother support measures implemented by the authorities. Companies with a total\nturnover of almost 21 Billion lei in 2019 have benefited from the facilities\nsince the official launching of the program and the demand is keeping a high\npace. That is why the extension of the implementation period has been necessary\nso that all the intentions expressed by the potential beneficiaries and\nfinancing banks could be met. We are thus continuously sustaining our\ncommitment to support the Romanian business environment and the official\nendeavors for accelerating the growth trend of the local economy.\u201d, said Traian\nHalalai, Executive President of EximBank. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The COVID-19 state aid facility aiming at large\ncompanies and SMEs with a turnover of 20 Million lei in 2019, offers investment\nand working capital loans with subsidized interest rate and state guarantees\ncovering up to 90% of the necessary guarantees for new or on going loans\ngranted by the commercial banks for investment or working capital for current\nbusiness activity of the beneficiary companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program launched in October 2020 by\nEximBank is ensuring the level playing field for interested eligible Romanian\ncompanies compared to European ones, offering support at the maximum intensity\nallowed by the Temporary Framework of the European Commission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EximBank is actively involved for more than 30\nyears in supporting and promoting the Romanian business environment by\nendorsing local companies\u2019 projects through its specific products of financing,\nguarantees and insurance.
