Oradea, March 29, 2012\u2013 Junior Achievement Romania and EximBank organized in Oradea a meeting with the entrepreneur pupils from four high-schools in the town. The youngsters are participating in the entrepreneurial programs of the organization that aim at offering advisory services for those wanting to develop the micro-businesses they have already created.<\/p>\n
This is the first event of the kind this year and the tenth under the partnership with EximBank, regarding two programs \u2013 Compania and Enterprise without Borders.<\/p>\n
\u201eNine out of ten pupils in the high-schools do believe that it is important to be taught about entrepreneurial subjects and more than half of them are interested in developing their own business, indicate a study recently drafted by Junior Achievement USA.<\/p>\n
In order to address these needs, Junior Achievement Romania is implementing on yearly bases entrepreneurial educational programs in more than 1000 Romanian schools, forming business competencies and stimulating through national and international competitions the creativity and the entrepreneurial skills of the young population.<\/p>\n
Under the Compania and Enterprise without Borders entrepreneurial educational programs, JA organized on Thursday, March 29 in Technical College Traian Vuia Oradea a meeting with the pupils form four high schools where samples of successful business cases from European JA programs have been presented.
\nMicro companies initiated by pupils as part of the educational programs \u201clearning by doing\u201d that JA is organizing presented their products and services drafted along the study year and received professional advice from EximBank experts in order to be prepared for accessing financing products. <\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, during the business ideas contest Elevator Pitch, the pupils had three minutes to convince the public that their business idea is innovative and feasible. The jury, consisting in EximBank and school representatives designated the best three ideas that have been awarded. <\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the partnership, more than 1200 young people in high schools with entrepreneurial abilities in Bucharest, Baia Mare, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Oradea and Timisoara benefited of the advisory services from EximBank experts.<\/p>\n
