{"id":7717,"date":"2022-01-17T11:54:45","date_gmt":"2022-01-17T08:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/?p=2956"},"modified":"2022-01-17T11:54:45","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T08:54:45","slug":"eximbank-continues-in-2022-the-financial-program-for-supporting-large-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2022\/01\/17\/eximbank-continues-in-2022-the-financial-program-for-supporting-large-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"EximBank continues in 2022 the financial program for supporting large companies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Bucharest, January 17,\n2022<\/strong> \u2013 The financial program supporting large\ncompanies and SMEs with a turnover higher than 20 million Lei in 2019, which\nEximBank has implemented after being specially mandated by the Romanian state,\nwill continue in the first half of this year, its validity being extended until\nJune 30th, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since launching the\nCOVID-19 state support program, dedicated to large companies and SMEs with a 20\nmillion Lei turnover in 2019, companies with a total turnover of 28,5 billion\nLei benefited of state guarantees and subsidized interest financing, the funds\nbeing used for working capital, as well as for investments. EximBank recorded\nover 500 requests from the business environment and offered a total value of 4\nbillion Lei in financing and guarantee facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Presentation1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2957\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>The extension of the\nfinancial support program for large companies, rolled out through EximBank, was\nabsolutely necessary for the Romanian economy. The business environment needs\nmore than ever some financial support programs that can help with subsidized\ninterest financing for developing the businesses and maintaining their jobs. We\nencourage the companies, as well as the commercial banks to take advantage of\nthis great opportunity, in a joint approach that supports speeding up the\ncorporate financing and the economic growth<\/em>\u201d, declared Adrian Caciu,\nFinance Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the state support\nCOVID-19 program for large companies and SMEs with a 20 million lei turnover in\n2019, the companies can access investment and working capital credits at a\nsubsidized interest rate as well as state guarantees for up to 90% for new and\nexisting credits granted by the partner commercial banks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This support program,\nlaunched by EximBank in October 2020, assures a level of support similar to the\nEuropean companies for all the interested Romanian companies, that can access\nthe maximum amount permitted by the Commission for the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For almost 30 years,\nEximBank has been actively involved in supporting and promoting the Romanian\nbusiness environment, endorsing local companies\u2019 projects through its specific\nproducts of financing, guarantees and insurance.
