{"id":9398,"date":"2022-11-09T15:22:10","date_gmt":"2022-11-09T12:22:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eximbank-dev.azurewebsites.net\/uncategorized\/autentificarea-platilor-online\/"},"modified":"2026-10-19T12:40:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T09:40:59","slug":"autentificarea-platilor-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eximbank.ro\/en\/2022\/11\/09\/autentificarea-platilor-online\/","title":{"rendered":"Authentication of online payments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Choose biometric authentication \u2013 download EximPay application from Google Play or App Store for a simple and fast experience of online shopping, in maximum safety conditions.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you initiate the payment online by <strong>EximPay<\/strong>, the phone screen shows a push type notification and by accessing it, a biometrical authorization page is opened.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The biometric confirmation of the transaction is done by touching the finger print sensor or by other biometrical authentication method available on the phone (facial, iris or voice recognition).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the EximPay biometric application you can view both the online transactions made and information about each transaction, for all the cards you own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By simply touching the card, you can check the e-commerce transactions authorized biometrically on that card.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To biometrically authenticate a transaction, the merchant where you conduct the transaction or the merchant\u2019s transactions processor has to be enrolled in 3DSecure security protocol. In case it is not enrolled, the client does not receive the push-=type notification and the transaction is conducted by normal flow, unsecured.<\/li>\n<li>The bank does not store the client\u2019s biometrical data, which is still remaining on each user\u2019s telephone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Download EximPay here:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=ro.romcard.brom3ds\">Google Play<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/ro\/app\/brom-pay\/id1501355673\">App Store<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Transactions authentication using Static Password (personal password) and Dynamic Password 3D Secure, sent by the bank by SMS to your mobile phone number saved in the Bank\u2019s system.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to conduct online transactions using this authentication method, you have to take the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Enter the 3D Secure dynamic password received via SMS as the first step of the two-step authentication process for any online transaction made with your card.<\/li>\n<li>In the next step, enter the static password according to the instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Important:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Static Password can be used for all the future transactions performed by your cards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Dynamic Password 3D Secure received by SMS is valid for 3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After 3 wrong attempts in which the Static Password is not correctly inserted, you automatically return to the initial page to place the order and resume the steps for transaction authentication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Choose biometric authentication \u2013 download EximPay application from Google Play or App Store for a simple and fast experience of online shopping, in maximum safety conditions.
