Bucharest, May 30, 2013 – EximBank intends to be more than a finance resource for the Romanian companies and by changing the strategy and sales approach aims at becoming a decisive factor to the business community success declared Traian Halalai, President of EximBank during a meeting with the businessmen recently organized in Cluj Napoca by the bank.

”We intend to be more client oriented and the meeting we had with the business community representatives in Cluj area is part of a larger project aiming at consolidating the relationship with Romanian companies, a project that will be run in the most important economic areas of the country. The economic environment in the North Western area is one of the most dynamic in Romania and, after a difficult 2012; the forecasts indicate an improvement of the economic situation with a positive evolution of the regional GDP. Our decision to invite the businessmen in the region, regardless of their type of business, to come help us identify their expectations and the way we can respond was based exactly on these positive perspectives”, added Traian Halalai.

Almost 70 companies in the region such as Romcab, Norstal, Pehart, Chimica Group, Terapia, Benta, Jolidon as well as representatives of the professional and patronal organizations (National Association of Importers and Exporters in Romania, Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Patronal and Craftsmen Association) have attended the meeting.
