EximBank continues to support the development of Rom Paper Brasov

Bucharest, August 11, 2014– In Cristian, few kilometers away from Brasov, Rom Paper owns one of the main napkins production facilities in Romania, a 100% Romanian entrepreneurial project developed by its owners exclusively with resources from EximBank. Recently, the bank has granted to the company a new financing line of more than 1.5 Million Lei to be used for acquiring an automatic napkin production line allowing the company to increase productivity and diversify its product portfolio.

”This cooperation is a special one for us because our partner is a real model for family businesses, especially in the actual economic circumstances when entrepreneurship is more and more linked to our hopes of economic recovery. Claudiu and Nicoleta Puchin, two former teachers, prove that good ideas may become viable businesses – like theirs – at any point and, especially when you team up with a bank that understands and adapts to your needs, success is not long in coming. Rom Paper has been an exclusive client since four years ago a fact that supports the assumption that the bank may represent a resource worth exploiting for the companies having projects on long term.”, said Traian Halalai, President of EximBank.

The cooperation between Rom Paper and EximBank has started by granting a finance loan 364.000 Lei with subsidized interest – The loan for entrepreneur women. The initial loan has been followed by other products – investment credits or credit facilities – that contributed to the business development along with the own company’ resources.

”During the last five years our business has developed consistently and we have been able to constantly grow even during the crisis. For instance, in 2013, our turnover has grown by almost 40% as compared to 2012. We are confident that we’ll continue to trend up, especially now that we are able to acquire the technical facilities to produce diversified and quality goods, as a result of the financing received from EximBank. At the same time, we plan to launch Mototol, our own brand of household paper. The raw materials we will be using for all four products of the Mototol brand will be of premium quality. Also, the wrapping’s design will be a special one, having paper wads as a central element, along with the tagline ‘Mototol is of great help’. For all the above reasons we believe our customers will be pleasantly surprised”, said Claudiu Puchin, Administrator of Rom Paper.
