EximBank expands its network with a new agency in Galati
Bucharest, May 7, 2013 – EximBank opened a new agency in Galati aiming at bringing closer its product portfolio consisting in financing, guarantees and insurance products to the companies located in Galati and Braila counties.
”The present stage of development of the Bank makes the expansion of the geographical coverage necessary, both for facilitating the access of the companies to the products we are offering and for the organic development of the Bank. We do believe that we are now in the position to play a key role in the economic environment and this is why we started expanding our network. The agency in Galati – the fourth Romanian industrial center – has as a main objective to contribute to the development of an area that might become a commercial Eastern gate for the European Union in relationship with former soviet countries”, declared Traian Halalai, President of EximBank.
The new EximBank premises are located in Galati, Piata Siderurgistilor, Block PS1b, having the working hours between 9 and 5 pm.
The agency in Galati adds to the other 12 territorial units of EximBank located in Bucharest, Bacau, Brasov, Buzau, Cluj, Constanta, Craiova, Oradea, Timisoara, Deva, Iasi and Sibiu; interested companies may also access www.eximbank.ro.
”Our future strategy comprises a continuous process of network expansion, focusing on the geographical areas with intense production activity, foreign commercial exchanges or well developed business environment. We intend to work with agencies with a low number of staff (in Galati we have 3 employees), no back office activities, focusing on direct sales to the clients’ premises. We are targeting any type of company, whether SMEs or big ones, exporters or active solely on the internal markets added the President of EximBank.
