EximBank opened an agency in Ramnicu Valcea

Bucharest, September 29, 2014 – EximBank has launched this month a new unit located in Ramnicu Valcea, covering Valcea and Gorj counties, the fifth agency opened by the bank during the commercial network expansion process, started in 2013.

This is why we will continue developing our operational network foreseeing that by the end of the year EximBank will be operating 20 units as compared to 12 in 2012.”, said Traian Halalai, President of EximBank.

The agency in Ramnicu Valcea, located on 5, Stirbei Voda Str. will be offering the whole range of EximBank products and services: financing, guarantees, insurance as well as treasury products, cash management and trade finance. The agency will function without back office services, replicating the same model used for the other units, with a number of three employees who will be using direct sales methods, directly to the companies’ headquarters.

The unit in Ramnicu Valcea adds to the other 17 EximBank agencies in Arad, Bucharest, Bacau, Brasov, Buzau, Cluj, Constanta, Craiova, Deva, Galati, Iasi, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Oradea, Targu Mures, Timisoara and Sibiu.

EximBank is a specialized institution whose threefold product portfolio focused on financing, guarantees and insurance enables it to grant assistance to current activities and development of exporters, SME-s and companies involved in projects pertaining to key economic sectors, particularly those contributing to the absorption of EU funds.

EximBank has registered a net profit of almost 32 Million Lei during the first half of 2014, 29% higher than during the same period of last year based on the expansion of clients’ portfolio and of the territorial coverage as well as on the implementation of a sustainable business model with a good income generation capacity.

During the first six months of the year the new financing granted has reached a volume of almost 475 Million lei out of which 90% has been directed towards financing the companies. The net credits portfolio has increased by 24% as compared to the end of 2013 and the bank’s assets have raised by 244 Million Lei.
