Halalai, EximBank: The most successful banks will be the ones offering tailored solutions to clients

Bucharest, May 12, 2014 – The cost level, specific portfolio and the high professionalism of the bank’s team are positioning EximBank as a top competitor for the commercial banks active on the corporate financing segment and the financial agreements that we have closed with some of the most representative players in the economy are solidly proofing this of said Traian Halalai, President of EximBank, during a meeting organized by the bank with the businessmen in Iasi area.

“We believe that on the long run, the most successful banks will be the ones that, by knowing closely the clients, will be offering solutions. Knowing your business partner is a natural step for any company considering that the more information available makes it easier for the entrepreneur to identify new opportunities for business development and to decide upon starting a partnership. It is also the direction that EximBank is following and the meetings we have had with the business communities in the country – as this one in Iasi – are part of this strategy”, said Traian Halalai.

Among the participants that have attended the event in Iasi, at the end of last week, there were representatives of companies such as Antibiotice, Gip Est, Grupul Racova, Mîndra, Vanbet or Plantagro.

During the meeting, the president of EximBank thanked the companies in Iasi for their support and involvement in the process of establishment of Romanian Association of Exporters AREX, as founding parties such is the case for Asam, Totalgaz Industrie or Valnex. He emphasized that AREX is an alternative for the companies that are willing to be connected fast to markets and information and has an open membership for any exporting company, free of any financial contribution.

The meeting with the business community in Iasi is the fifth organized by the bank this year, after the ones in Bacau, Timisoara, Brasov and Buzau and is part of a project of direct communication with the businessmen, initiated by EximBank last year.

EximBank is a specialized institution whose threefold product portfolio focused on financing, guarantee and insurance, enables it to grant assistance to current activities and development of exporters, SME-s and companies involved in projects pertaining to key economic sectors, particularly those contributing to the absorption of EU funds.
