Halalai, EximBank: We will continue the competitive costs policy for our products

Bucharest, March 20, 2014 – EximBank intends to accelerate the trend regarding the financing granted to local companies and, in order to reach this target, the bank’s policy is focused this year on keeping the costs for its products and services to the lower limit of the actual range of the banking, declared Traian Halalai, President of EximBank, during a meeting organized by the bank with the business community in Brasov.

”The economy in this area has registered an active trend during last years with an advance on local GDP by more than 6% in 2013 – higher than the national level – and with good prospects to keep the ascending course. This is also the reasoning of our decision to meet the local businessmen in order to assure them that we are able to be their partners in supporting their business projects and the economic growth of the region. EximBank has the funds, the instruments and the availability to finance or guarantee the projects of companies in Brasov.”, added Traian Halalai.

More than 50 businessmen have attended the meeting in Brasov, representing companies such as Covalact, Energo, Rom Paper, M&M Product, Serstill, Ramoss Com, Forex, Metalstil Prod etc., along with local authorities representatives.

The event in Brasov is the second one this year, after the one in Timisoara and is part of a direct communication project with the businessmen initiated last year and that has been attended by more than 400 companies and local authorities representatives.

EximBank is a specialized institution whose threefold product portfolio focused on financing, guarantee and insurance, enables it to grant assistance to current activities and development of exporters, SME-s and companies involved in projects pertaining to key economic sectors, particularly those contributing to the absorption of EU funds.
