Exim Banca Romaneasca Supports Global Gateway Projects
Exim Banca Romaneasca, as Romania’s export agency, has signed the joint letter of interest from EU Export Agencies to support #GlobalGateway projects. Through this initiative, Exim Banca Romaneasca reaffirms its commitment to the European Union’s Global Gateway Strategy, which aims to develop smart, clean, and secure connections in the digital, energy, and transport sectors, as well as strengthen global health, education, and research systems.
By signing this document, Exim Banca Romaneasca gains the opportunity to create an effective cooperation framework that will enable Romanian exporters to integrate into large-scale international projects, through complex transactions that highlight the potential of Romanian companies in a secure and predictable environment.
The Global Gateway Strategy represents the EU’s contribution to reducing the global investment gap. It aligns with the commitment made by G7 leaders in June 2021 to launch a partnership for transparent infrastructure, based on values and high-quality standards, to meet global infrastructure development needs. The Global Gateway Strategy is also fully aligned with the UN’s 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Paris Agreement.
Exim Banca Romaneasca is a 100% Romanian universal bank, ranked in top 10 largest credit institutions by assets. The bank offers its corporate clients a wide range of quality products and services, covering the entire financing cycle as well as transactional – financing, guarantees, insurance, treasury products, cash management, factoring and trade finance.
Exim Banca Romaneasca operates a national distribution network of 83 branches and 26 Corporate Units, the latter being dedicated exclusively to companies, a network that allows it to be close to retail and corporate customers and to implement various Romanian and European development programs.
In addition, because it acts as an agent of the state on the guarantee and insurance market, Exim Banca Romaneasca is one of the instruments through which the public funds, made available by the Romanian state, support the sustainable development of the economy.
