Exim Banca Romaneasca’s management team is complete
Exim Banca Romaneasca’s management team is now complete with the addition of Catalin Parvu as Executive Vice President, Head of the Corporate and Treasury Division, and Dragoș Popa and Liviu-George Maha as Non-Executive Members of the Board of Directors, following their authorization by the National Bank of Romania.
Catalin Parvu brings extensive professional experience in the financial and banking sector, having held top management positions in several banks. He served as CEO of Piraeus Bank for nearly a decade until its acquisition by the investment fund J.C. Flowers, and after the merger, he became First Vice President of First Bank. Before Piraeus Bank, he spent almost ten years as Vice President of Banca Comerciala Ion Țiriac/HVB Țiriac.
Dragoș Popa has worked in banking and consulting for nearly 27 years, most of it within the Citibank Grou, while Liviu-George Maha is a university professor, PhD in Economics, and Rector of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.
Following the BNR’s decision, the entire management proposed by the General Meeting of Shareholders has been validated, and the bank’s leadership will be structured as follows for the next four years:
