Exim Banca Romaneasca has a new Executive Vice President
Eugen Bunea joins the executive management of Exim Banca Romaneasca and assumes the role of Executive Vice President for back-office operations following his appointment by the bank’s Board of Directors and authorization by the National Bank of Romania.
Eugen Bunea, who will oversee the Operations Division, IT Division, and the Banking Recovery and Resolution Department, has been part of the EximBank/Exim Banca Romaneasca team since 2019, when he took on the position of Executive Director of the IT Division. Before entering the banking system, he worked in information technology, holding leadership positions for 16 years. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Politehnica University of Bucharest.

Starting this year, Exim Banca Romaneasca has a new top management team, with the executive leadership consisting of Traian Halalai – Executive President (leading Exim since November 2012), Lidia Stan – Executive Vice President responsible for retail operations/CFO, Catalin Parvu – Executive Vice President overseeing the Corporate and Treasury Division, and Codin Nastase – Executive Vice President responsible for internal control/CRO.
Exim Banca Romaneasca ranks eighth among banks in Romania by total assets under management and continues to grow efficiently and profitably, ensuring the sustainable expansion of its business.
