Contactless payments with Apple Pay
- On the iPhone, open the Wallet application, press the “+” button and follow the instructions
- For the Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch application on the iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then press “Add Credit or Debit Card”;
- On the iPad, go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”;
- On MacBook Pro, using your own Touch ID, go to System Preferences, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then choose “Add Card”

Apple Pay can be used for payments in stores, through applications or online, with iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac.
Apple Pay is also a safe and faster way to pay online or in apps, because you don’t have to create an account or fill in card data or other forms.
Payment in stores – depending on the phone model used and your preference, you authenticate with Touch ID, Face ID or password, then bring your iPhone or Apple Watch closer to the POS. At some POS, you may also be asked to enter the PIN code for the card used

Internet payment – Use Apple Pay to make purchases in different types of applications on the iPhone or iPad. Payment is simple: select Apple Pay when you want to purchase something and complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID. You can also pay from your MacBook Pro using Touch ID.
How secure are Apple Pay payments?
The card number isn’t stored on your device or Apple servers. Instead, the device has assigned a unique token number, encrypted, and securely stored on your iPhone or Apple Watch. Any transaction made with Apple Pay is validated by Touch ID or Face ID, so your payments are super secure.
Can I see my account balance on Apple Pay?
No, in Apple Pay you cannot see the account balance, instead you can access the Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking application offered by Exim Banca Romaneasca.
How can I delete my card from Apple Pay?
On your iPhone or iPad: Go to the SETTINGS menu > the WALLET & APPLE PAY section > select the card you want to delete from Apple Pay and press the REMOVE THIS CARD button.
On your Apple Watch: Select WALLET on your Apple Watch Home Screen, tap the card you want to erase from Apple Pay, and press the DELETE button.
What is the card transaction limits in Apple Pay?
The transaction limits related to your physical card are also kept for transactions made with it through Apple Pay. The transactions will be performed.
