Benefits

  • One free lounge visit per calendar year through the LoungeKey program; subsequent access is subject to applicable fees and charges. The World Euro card grants access to over 1,400 LoungeKey locations at airports worldwide.
  • Unlimited free access to lounges in Romania and Vienna, provided you make and settle transactions of at least 1,000 lei at physical or online merchants in the last 30 days and no later than 96 hours before lounge entry. These conditions apply until June 30, 2025. After this date, Mastercard’s standard terms apply, available on mastercard.ro.
  • Free travel insurance and purchase protection for items bought with the card.
  • No currency conversion fee when using the Mastercard World Euro debit card in countries where the Euro is the national currency. Transactions in the Eurozone do not incur conversion fees.
  • The card can be enrolled in digital wallets such as Google Pay or Apple Pay, allowing contactless payments via phone at any POS terminal or online through supported payment gateways.
  • Discounts at top merchants in over 400 partner locations across Romania via the Mastercard Premium Collection program.

  • Transactions made with the card are visible in the bank’s Mobile Banking and Internet Banking apps.

LoungeKey

  • Access to over 1,400 “LoungeKey” lounges at more than 1,000 airports globally for Mastercard Premium Business cardholders.
  • The first entry each calendar year is free.
  • Access is granted regardless of airline or ticket class.
  • Lounge amenities include relaxation spaces, snacks and beverages, internet access, etc.
  • Participating Romanian airport: “Traian Vuia” Timișoara – International Departures Terminal, Sky Business Lounge.
  • Easy lounge access by presenting the Mastercard Premium Business card, along with ID and boarding pass.
  • Always inform lounge staff that the card is enrolled in the LoungeKey program and verify visit details on the receipt.
  • To view information via the LoungeKey mobile app, prior registration is required [HERE].
  • Fee: USD 32 per person, per visit.

Mastercard Lounge

  • Unlimited free access* to Mastercard Business Lounge in airports in Romania and Vienna until June 30, 2025. After this date, Mastercard’s standard terms apply, available at mastercard.ro.
  • Easy lounge access by presenting the Mastercard Premium Business card.
  • Relaxing atmosphere with snacks, beverages, internet access, and smoking areas.
  • Access is granted to all valid cards that are not blocked, lost, stolen, or otherwise ineligible for transactions.

A complete insurance package for Mastercard Premium Business cardholders residing in Romania, under 65 years old, offered FREE of charge, including:

  • Personal accident insurance covering incidents in Romania and abroad (excluding conflict zones).
  • Liability coverage in Romania and abroad (excluding USA, Canada, Japan, and conflict zones).
  • Baggage insurance during domestic and international travel.
  • Insurance for theft/loss of travel documents, covering replacement costs, valid in Romania and abroad.
  • Purchase protection and price protection (price difference) for purchases made in Romania, applicable to goods bought in Romania.
